Everyone has a dream, a vision for their life. At least at some point in life, people give their imagination complete freedom to allow themselves to dream, even if it is for just a short moment in time or in their childhood. If they do not have a vision with their eyes open, they do have dreams when they sleep at night and they have no control of blocking their own visions. Some hold on to their dreams their whole lives long while others barely allow themselves to dream. Perhaps they did have a vision of themselves once, but for some reason they lost hope. They might say that life had different plans for them, they did not get the opportunity to follow their dreams, their dream is unrealistic, they do not get the support they need, they are missing something important in order to make their dreams become reality or they come up with other reasons why they have given up.
What about you? Do you have a dream, a vision for yourself? Have you told anyone about your dreams or do you keep them quietly to yourself because they are beyond what most people can see? Pay close attention to how this makes you feel, thinking about your dream or how it makes you feel when you realize you have forgotten what your dream is. What does that awaken in you and why is it important to look at these emotions and thoughts?
It has EVERYTHING to do with it. How you feel and think about this is a deeply planted program in your mind that goes all the way back to your childhood. Depending on what program you run in your mind you either get stuck in life with unfulfilled dreams, or you thrive and give it all you got to realize your dreams. Over the next few blogs that I will be posting, I would like to take you on a journey. A journey of self discovery and opportunity. I would like to invite you to come along with me and see your life from a different perspective. A perspective where everything is possible if you choose it to be so and you take the appropriate actions.
In today’s blog, we begin by viewing our mind like a treasure map. Tap into your imagination now and see a good looking treasure map with twists and turns, mountains and valleys, forests and ocean. Go ahead, close your eyes for a moment and see this map right in front of you. Read on when you really see a map in your imagination.
This is YOUR map. It is the map of your mind. There are different areas on your map and there is a mark on one end of the map. That mark is your treasure. The beauty about this treasure is that it can be ANYTHING you want it to be as long as it serves the highest good of all, the highest and best for you and others. Many paths can lead you to the treasure. You get to choose which one you would like to take. The reward of finding the treasure will fill you with freedom, peace, love, joy, passion, and reverence for all.
So where are you on your map at this moment of time? How can you find the “Your are here” mark and how do you get to your destination of the treasure mark? This is what these next few blogs are all about, where I will take you deeper on your journey wherever you want it to go. Most people spend their whole life in one area of their map. For some it might be the mountain area of the map, for others it might be the secret forest, and for others it might be on a boat in the ocean looking for land. You know that you are stuck if you generally feel stuck in life, bored with life, frustrated, worried, hopeless, and when you feel there is something more to life than what it seems to show you but you just can’t seem to find what life is really all about. These are some indicators that tell you that you are stuck in one or two areas of your map. Why is it that people are stuck? It is simple. If you can’t read the map, then the map is of no help to you. If you are not even aware that you carry a map in your backpack, the map cannot help you get you to your destination. You need a map and you need to learn how to read your map. Your map is unique to YOU. There is no other map out there like yours. You cannot compare your map with others because their map will lead them to their treasure which is not yours. To find your treasure is to fulfill your dreams.
If you are interested in learning more about your map, be sure to read part 2 of MANIFESTING YOUR DREAM. I will be posting a new blog every week, so be sure to check in regularly.
